God of Creation
I am the God of thunder —
I am the Lord of might;
Creating all — both large and small,
Both in and out of sight.
The earth — it is My footstool,
And heaven is My throne;
Just look to see My sovereignty
That I command, alone.
Look deep into My heavens —
As far as you can see;
But when you're done — you've just begun
To see one galaxy.
I am the God of wonder —
I am the Lord of light;
Consider, now, the eagle — how
Majestic is her flight.
I've made your world so varied —
Part water and part land:
From polar ice to paradise
With tropic isles of sand.
I've formed the highest mountains,
And filled the deepest seas.
My glory lights the darkest nights,
And whispers in the breeze.
I am the Lord of might;
Creating all — both large and small,
Both in and out of sight.
The earth — it is My footstool,
And heaven is My throne;
Just look to see My sovereignty
That I command, alone.
Look deep into My heavens —
As far as you can see;
But when you're done — you've just begun
To see one galaxy.
I am the God of wonder —
I am the Lord of light;
Consider, now, the eagle — how
Majestic is her flight.
I've made your world so varied —
Part water and part land:
From polar ice to paradise
With tropic isles of sand.
I've formed the highest mountains,
And filled the deepest seas.
My glory lights the darkest nights,
And whispers in the breeze.
Thus says the Lord, “Heaven is My throne and the earth is My footstool."
