Bread of Life

I am the God of manna —
On which My children fed.
For forty years My grace appeared
Upon the ground as bread.
They ate the food of angels
I showered from above;
From Pharaoh's hand to Caanan's land
My children felt My love.
From sin, they walked in circles.
From unbelief, they roamed.
Yet, manna came — each day, the same
Until I brought them home.

No longer serve I manna —
But offer Living Bread
Which can't be found upon the ground,
But through My Son instead.
The Israelites ate manna
To live from day to day;
But eat this flesh of Righteousness
And never pass away.
If you want life eternal,
Then Jesus is the key;
Confess your sin and trust in Him
And live eternally.

I am the bread of life.
John 6:48
