Psalm 87
A Psalm of the sons of Korah. A Song.
He's founded his city on his holy mountain.
The LORD adores Zion's gates more than the rest
of all of the dwellings constructed of Jacob.
Such glorious things of God's city, expressed!
Selah [Interlude]
Both Egypt and Babylon, I will acknowledge,
with Tyre, Philistia, Cush — now behold!
They've all become citizens, born there in Zion.
Regarding Jerusalem, it will be told:
both this one and that one were born in her city,
the Most High himself will establish her, too.
The LORD, counting people says, This one's from Zion.
Selah [Interlude]
With music they sing, All my springs are in you.
