Psalm 145
A Psalm of David.
I'll exalt you, my God and my King;
I'll forever have your name be praised.
Every day I'll have praises to bring;
I'll forever praise you with hands raised.
Great is Yahweh, and worthy of praise,
for his greatness that none understand.
Generations on end cite your ways,
and the marvelous works of your hand.
Of your glory and splendor, I've sung;
on your wonderful works, I will mull.
All your deeds will be on every tongue;
I will tell of your greatness to all.
They'll declare of your goodness they find;
and they'll sing of your justice alone.
The LORD's merciful, gracious and kind;
slow to wrath but he's great in love shown.
Oh, the LORD's good to any and all;
to his grace, all he's made can attest.
All creation thanks you, great and small;
by your faithful and saints are you blest.
Of your glorious kingdom, they speak;
of your might and your power, declare,
so that all know your deeds are unique,
and your kingdom and splendor found there.
For your kingdom will ever endure,
both for old generations and new.
The LORD's word is both certain and sure,
and he's faithful in all he will do.
The LORD helps those who have fallen through;
and he lifts those bowed down with great weight.
All the eyes of the world are on you;
in due season, you fill up their plate.
You have opened your hand and it stays,
you fill all living things and their needs.
The LORD's righteous in all of his ways,
and is holy in all of his deeds.
And to all who would call him, he's near;
those who call and are very sincere.
For those showing him reverent fear,
he will save them for he'll always hear.
Those who love him, Jehovah preserves;
but the wicked, destroyed with the rest.
I will praise the LORD as he deserves,
by all creatures you'll ever be blest.
I'll exalt you, my God and my King;
I'll forever have your name be praised.
