Psalm 131
A song of ascents. Of David.
My heart is not proud, and my eyes are not high;
I am not concerned with things greater than I.
Instead, I am calm like a mother's weaned child;
my soul, like that child, now contented and mild.
O Israel, put all your hope in the LORD,
today and tomorrow and forevermore.
My heart is not proud, and my eyes are not high;
I am not concerned with things greater than I.
Instead, I am calm like a mother's weaned child;
my soul, like that child, now contented and mild.
O Israel, put all your hope in the LORD,
today and tomorrow and forevermore.
