Psalm 13
For the director of music. A psalm of David.
How long, LORD Jehovah? How long will it be?
Forever will your face be turning from me?
How long must I wrestle each day with my soul?
How long will my enemies wield their control?
Consider an answer, LORD, give your reply.
Give light to my eyes lest I sleep and then die.
My enemies say, Over him we'll prevail.
My foes will rejoice when I fall, and I fail.
I trust in the mercy and love you impart;
and in your salvation, rejoice in my heart.
I'll sing to the LORD and Jehovah my praise,
for he has been good to me all of my days.
