Psalm 122
A song of ascents. Of David.
I was glad when they said unto me,
Let us go to the house of the LORD.
Now we stand at your beautiful gates,
O Jerusalem, loved and adored.
O Jerusalem, compactly built,
where the tribes go — the LORD's tribes go toward,
as the ark of the testimony,
to give thanks to the name of the LORD.
There the thrones of the judgement are set;
thrones of King David's line are in place.
Pray for peace in Jerusalem now.
May those loving you, prosper in grace.
O Jerusalem, may there be peace:
may true peace be found inside your walls;
may abundance in your palace reign,
and prosperity rule in your halls.
For the sake of my family and friends,
I will say to you, May you have peace.
For the sake of Jehovah our God,
I will seek out your good and increase.
I was glad when they said unto me,
Let us go to the house of the LORD.
Now we stand at your beautiful gates,
O Jerusalem, loved and adored.
O Jerusalem, compactly built,
where the tribes go — the LORD's tribes go toward,
as the ark of the testimony,
to give thanks to the name of the LORD.
There the thrones of the judgement are set;
thrones of King David's line are in place.
Pray for peace in Jerusalem now.
May those loving you, prosper in grace.
O Jerusalem, may there be peace:

may abundance in your palace reign,
and prosperity rule in your halls.
