Psalm 110
A Psalm of David.
Says the LORD to my Lord, At my right, take your seat
until I make your foes as a stool for your feet.
The LORD sends forth from Zion your scepter and rod:
Have dominion and rule over your foes abroad.
In the battle, your troops will fight freely for you;
in the splendor of holiness, strength will renew,
from the womb of the dawn will your youth be as dew.
LORD Jehovah has sworn, and will not change his mind:
By Melchizedek you'll be a priest for all time.
The LORD stands on your right, to the end of the age;
he will execute kings on the day of his rage.
He will punish and fill earth with those who have died;
he will shatter the leaders and chiefs world-wide.
On his way, he will drink from the brook's riverbed;
in victorious triumph he will lift up his head.
