God of Justice
I am the God of Justice —
Who hears your fervent cry.
Your enemies live lives of ease —
And then you question why.
But rain falls on the wicked
As well as on the just;
The sun sheds light to all in sight,
So, too, the moonlight must.
But soon, I’ll judge the heathen,
My promises I’ll keep:
They’ve sown their seeds of evil deeds,
And folly shall they reap.
I am the God of Justice —
Upon The Judgement Seat;
One day, alone, before My Throne,
They’ll tremble at My Feet.
I’ll judge them for their actions
Against My Holy Name,
And then condemn each one of them
To hell’s eternal flame.
I’ll also judge My children
And give them their reward:
Eternity for faith in Me,
And trusting Me as Lord.
Who hears your fervent cry.
Your enemies live lives of ease —
And then you question why.
But rain falls on the wicked
As well as on the just;
The sun sheds light to all in sight,
So, too, the moonlight must.
But soon, I’ll judge the heathen,
My promises I’ll keep:
They’ve sown their seeds of evil deeds,
And folly shall they reap.
I am the God of Justice —
Upon The Judgement Seat;
One day, alone, before My Throne,
They’ll tremble at My Feet.
I’ll judge them for their actions
Against My Holy Name,
And then condemn each one of them
To hell’s eternal flame.
I’ll also judge My children
And give them their reward:
Eternity for faith in Me,
And trusting Me as Lord.
Give justice to the poor and the orphan; uphold the rights of the oppressed and the destitute.
