A Prayer

Lord we thank you for this day,
For the breath and life you give.
We thank You for showing us the way
Our life for You to live.

We thank You now for daily food
Which gives us strength we need
To do the tasks You have for us
And does our bodies feed.

We pray that You'll be with us
Each hour of every day,
To live for those around us
And show our love alway.

Bless each one here, be near us
Watch over us we pray,
Help us to stay close by You,
In Your dear Name we pray.
