Remembering That Night in Bethlehem

O silent night, O holy night!
O night we'll not forget,
when shepherds fell down from their fright
of angels that they met.

It came upon the midnight clear,
as shepherds watched their sheep;
with Bethlehem so very near,
in deep and dreamless sleep.

Now, hark the herald angels sing,
hear what they have to say!
Give glory to the newborn King,
who, in a manger, lay.

O come, O come, Emmanuel,
who's come to set us free.
The Holy One of Israel:
Isaiah's prophesy.

From angels bending near the earth,
so few men ever saw!
Let's go and see this royal birth,
that's nestled in the straw.
