Psalm 149
Praise the LORD!
Sing, oh sing to Jehovah a new song,
in the midst of his faithful, let your praises ring.
Oh, let Jacob rejoice in their Maker;
let the people of Zion be glad in their King.
Let them praise the LORD's name with their dancing,
making music with tambourine and the harp's string.
For the LORD takes delight in his people;
with salvation, adorning the humble always.
Let his faithful rejoice in such glory;
let them sing out with joy from their bed with more praise.
May their mouths and their throats sing God's praises,
with a double-edged sword in their hand, they can raise
to inflict righteous vengeance on nations,
and to punish their people, both foreign and strange,
binding their kings with shackles and fetters,
and their nobles with fetters of iron and chains,
for their judgement was written against them!
This is honor for all of his godly and saints.
