A Proverb
When a blanket of snow has covered the dirt,
and seemingly buried the silt;
'tis like an excuse that's hidden the hurt,
disguising the blame and the guilt.
For in proper time the snowdrifts shall melt —
the surface shall then be revealed;
so, likewise, the pain shall always be felt,
the guilt never can be concealed.
